A nurturing, safe space for your little wolf to thrive every day.
Caring for Dogs, Like Family
Little Urban Wolves is far more than a place to drop your dog for the day. It is a warm and lively space where dogs learn new skills, build their social confidence and engage in species specific activities that match their natural instinctual behaviours every day.
Much like a quality childcare setting, ratios are kept intentionally small. This means Aunties can really tune in to each dog, offering the right mix of attention, structure and guidance so they can learn and grow through the daily programs.
Ashka and her team bring strong training and a genuine commitment to canine wellbeing. As she explains, “We place the needs of each dog above everything else we do. Our facility is temperature controlled and maintains strict hygiene standards.”
Reflecting on the journey, Ashka says, “I created Little Urban Wolves off the back of years of industry experience, I wanted to create a place where dogs, and their humans, felt welcome and a part of a community, while providing education and support to achieve best outcomes for every dog that attends our facility.”
We invite you to arrange your dog’s assessment and experience the Little Wolf difference first hand.

Little Wolves Founder
Ash Broeksema
At it’s essence Little Urban Wolves reflects my experience of working with Animals in a multitude of settings. From studs and kennels to veterinary practices and animal houses, I have seen a lot of great practices and things I always believed we could do better for people, their pets and employees.
My education lays in animal science, behaviour and nutrition. My passion lays in dogs, animals as a whole, and our natural world, with experience that spans over 30 years.
When I started Little Urban Wolves, I knew I needed to challenge industry norms and create a space that met my strong ethical beliefs and genuine caring nature. It needed purpose, passion and a sense of community. Anyone who knows me will know I cannot simply do something for the sake of checking a box, it has to be a part of my being, or it just doesn’t fit.
I wanted to create a space where dogs are supported and appreciated as a unique species, this goes deeper than seeing dogs as a KPI or Fur Baby.
I wanted a work environment where my team were excited to show up everyday and feel supported to grow their passion for canine care, while making a realistic living wage. The Animal Industry pays minimum wage, and has big physical and emotional demands.
I wanted a team culture that fostered learning and education, with a hope to inspire more women to create a dream true to their selves.
Little Wolves reflects my passion to create a space where dogs, and people feel seen and supported.I’m so excited that you’ve found us, and hope you feel welcome in our Little Wolf Community 🐾
