By using Little Urban Wolves (LUW); you, the client, agrees to the terms of use set out below and releases Little Urban Wolves and its employees from any liability for accident or injury sustained while at our facility.
LITTLE URBAN WOLVES RESPONSIBILITY Little Urban Wolves will maintain a santitised environment to minimise risk of illness or injury to a dogs within our care. All dogs will be supervised to ensure the risk of accident, injury or stress is minimised. At pick up each day, clients will be provided with accurate and honest feedback to allow the identification of illness and any behavioural issues that may arise. LUW will work with clients to achieve best outcomes for the dog in these situations.
OWNERS RESPONSIBILITY It is the responsibility of each dog owner to ensure their dog is up to date with vaccinations, worming and flea treatment. Owners agree to ensure dogs arrive prior to 10am, Monday to Friday to allow classes to run on time.
INITIAL ASSESSMENT All new client dogs must under go assessment on their first visit to ensure they are suited to our daycare environment. Dogs are assessed for basic training, interaction and ability to read social cues from other dogs, anxiety and aggression towards other dogs and our staff.
TRIAL PERIOD All new client dogs will serve a 3 visit trail period to allow proper assessment of suitability to attend our daycare facility. During this time, consultation with clients will be sought to address any behavioural issues identified. Clients are aware that not all dogs are suited to a daycare environment and Dogs on the Park will always prioritise a dogs welfare, safety and wellbeing.
BEHAVIOUR The client is required to communicate any known behavioural/reactivity problems that their dog has with food, toys, other animals, or humans. Anti social behaviours, excessive humping, dominant behaviour, excessive barking must also be disclosed prior to your dog's visit. Training devices may be used for problematic behaviour. The client is responsible for any harm or injury caused by their dog while in the care and supervision of Little Urban Wolves.
ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOURS are typically excessive barking, humping other dogs and people, biting, not responding to other dog's social cues, and being unable to follow direction from staff. Should these behaviours be exhibited, we will discuss behaviours with clients and decide on the best course of action. A dog may be suspended for a visit or expelled at the facility's discretion for the safety and welfare of others dogs at our facility.
VETERINARY TREATMENT Should any dog become ill or injured whilst within the facility, Little Urban Wolves, reserves the right to administer necessary first aid, and should it become necessary, to obtain immediate veterinary treatment. Any such treatment will be at the client’s expense. Little Urban Wolves or its employees, will not be held responsible for any illness (including paralysis ticks or canine influenza), injury, death, loss or damage sustained by or inflicted to any pet in the facility while in the care of Little Urban Wolves.
ILLNESS IN DOGS
Should a dog develop illness while in the care of Little Urban Wolves, the owner will be notified and asked to collect their dog as a point of urgency. This is to alleviate stress on your dog if they are unwell and to stop the spread of illness to other dogs in our care. Your dog will be isolated until you are able to collect them.
INJURY Whilst Little Urban Wolves takes care to provide a safe environment for all animals at our facility, the client acknowledges that their dog will be interacting with other dogs, as well as exposed to grooming tools and sanitisation products. The care of any injured dogs is our priority, and any first aid will be administered by a trained staff member.
DAY CARE
It is a requirement that all daycare dogs arrive prior to 10am Tuesday to Friday. This is to ensure training sessions are able to be run without interruption to your pup's class mates. Dogs in the care of Little Urban Wolves are always supervised by a staff member. We work with a ratio of 15 dogs maximum per staff member for daycare. The environment allows dogs to play and interact with one another at our facility. The client acknowledges that due to the day care environment and walking activities, both on and off the premises, that while all care is taken, injuries to dogs may occur. The client acknowledges that any excursion away from the facility will be on leash in a non fenced environment.
PHOTOGRAPHY Clients agree to give Little Urban Wolves the right and permission to use photos and video footage of their dogs while in Little Urban Wolves care. These can be used for training, advertising, promotion, social media or any other purpose.
CANCELLATION POLICY and NO SHOWS Little Urban Wolves requires 24 hours’ notice for cancellations and may implement a fee for repeat no shows or late cancellations. Should a cancellation be made within 12 hours leading to a dog's arrival time, Little Urban Wolves charges 50% of casuall fee rate payable.
DAYCARE PACK purchases. We discount the regular price of our casual daycare prices to accommodate regular daycare visits. 5 packs have a 6 week expiry and 10 packs have a 3 month expiry from date of purchase. We happily pause 10 packs for surgery or serious illness requirements, please let us know should you need our support.
LATE PICK UP SURCHARGE Clients are aware that Little Urban Wolves charges a late fee of $30 per 15 minutes for dogs not picked up by closing time of 6.30pm. For dogs that go over their 10 hour booking time, a fee of $25 is charged.
